The Tennis School offers year-round programming and instruction for kids and adults of all ages and levels provided by our Team of certified and experienced coaches. Our junior academy is designed for kids aged 4-17 and provides two pathways to help each player reach their goals in a trusted, safe and professional setting.
Have a look at the various programs specifically developed for players from a first-time beginner level to our teen development group or our high-performance academy for those players looking to pursue long term development and tournament competition.
All our programs are grouped by age and ability allowing each student to receive age-appropriate coaching and development with the correct court size, ball type, pace of progression and great student to court to coach ratios.
The Academy is broken down into two pathways.
The Development path, which focuses on teaching the proper fundamentals, techniques, knowledge of the game and building self-confidence on and off the court all while making things fun!
The High-Performance path continues to focus on the core elements as well but also introduces more competitive match play and tactics and digs deeper into the mental and physical side of tennis while also working on the more complex aspects of the game.
Our Junior Academy runs in two parts. One 38-week session from September to mid-June and the second session during July and August. By providing a more continuous session we are able to develop more of the skills and muscle memory that is required to improve and master the different aspects players will need to progress.
The Academy structure and goals work within the parameters of the Tennis Canada Progressive Development System along with the experience and knowledge of our coaching team and Tennis Director.
We Know how important finding an activity for your child is. At The Tennis School our mission is to provide each player with an opportunity to learn, grow and reach their individual potential. The Tennis School combines expert coaching, friendly and safe training environments and long-term growth plans that kids and parents can trust. You'll also receive regular updates and progress reports and insights into their development.
To make registration easier, we’ve provided printable PDF forms for each Junior Academy level. Simply download the form that matches your child’s program, fill it out at home, and bring it with you to the front desk when enrolling. One step closer to the court—quick and easy!
