At The Tennis School, we believe that how you play is just as important as how well you play. These simple courtesies help create a positive atmosphere for all players — from casual matches to competitive play.

On-Court Courtesy

• Be punctual. Arrive early and start your session on time.
• Wait politely. Don’t cross behind or enter a court until a point is finished.
• Keep noise down. Respect other players’ concentration and space.
• Share the court. Rotate efficiently during doubles or drills so everyone gets equal play.
• Pick up balls promptly. Retrieve stray balls between points to keep play smooth.
• Leave the court tidy. Return borrowed balls or baskets and take belongings with you.

Sportsmanship & Conduct

• Call lines fairly. Always give your opponent the benefit of the doubt.
• Stay positive. Frustration happens — channel it into your next shot.
• Applaud good play. A little encouragement goes a long way.
• Win with humility, lose with grace. Always thank your opponents.
• Respect staff and coaches. They’re here to help keep play safe and enjoyable for all.
